Raising a Concern
At Whitchurch C E Primary School we always try to build strong relationships with our parents and the community. There are occasions when another person’s view can help the school with decision making and therefore helpful suggestions are welcome and the school will endeavour to take them into careful consideration.
Conversely, occasionally there may be times when someone feels they need to make a complaint, which is disappointing. However, if that is the case we look to resolving the situation as quickly as possible. Every complaint will be taken seriously.
We will always aim to resolve a complaint informally and in the first instance please discuss the complaint or concern with your child’s class teacher. If you feel your complaint has not been addressed please contact the School Office for an appointment with the Key Stage Leader. If you remain unhappy please contact the School Office again to speak to the Deputy Headteacher or Head Teacher.
Persistent Complaints
Whitchurch CE Primary School is committed to dealing with all complaints fairly and impartially, and to providing a high quality service to those who complain. We will not normally limit the contact complainants have with our school. However, we do not expect our staff to tolerate unacceptable behaviour and will take action to protect staff from that behaviour, including that which is abusive, offensive or threatening.
For further information please read the Complaints Policy and the Policy for Unreasonable Complaints which is linked below.
